One of the very largest and most beautifully formed carnations ever intro- duced ; does not burst its calyx; exceedingly free flowering, and producing extra good, long stout stems. A strong, vigorous and healthy grower. Color clear, white ground, delicately and very evenly marked with bright scarlet, giving it a very pleasing and effective finish. Cuttings from the sand ready March 15. per dozen, $ per 100. 2-inch potted plants, $ per 100 additional. The Stuart. (Dorner.) The color is like the rich shade of scarlet found in so many Geraniums. Growth vigorous and strong. Foliage large and deep green. Flower stems very long and strong, carrying the flowers with very little support; calyx never bursting; very free ; blooms from November to July. $ per 100. Uncle John. (Dorner.) An excellent white variety from Silver Spray and Hinze's White, in the third generation. It has the grassy appearance of Hinze's White, but with larger blades. Growth very strong and luxuriant; flower stems long, wiry and strong; calyx never bursting. Flowers large, finely formed— fringed and purest white; far freer in bloom than either of its parents. $ per 100; $ per 1,000. E. A. Wood. (Dorner.) Of the very largest size, and the most beautiful and distinct among variegated varieties. The color is Edna Craig pink, penciled much brighter; the form and build of the flower are simply perfect; the stem is stiff and wiry ; the calyx good; the strongest admirer of the 'self' pinks could not fail to like this bright, beautiful variety. $ per 100. GrOldtincli. (Dorner.) A good yellow variety, quite similar in color to Buttercup, and averaging pretty well with that variety in size, while it is of much bet- ter growth than Buttercup, and very much freer in bloom. Its ready growth and quantities of flowers
