This shingle-style chalet was designed by California architect Julia Morgan in 1909 It sits atop a hill overlooking downtown Vallejo, north of San Francisco. Morgan was the principal architect for William Randolph Hearst. Her most famous work is Hearst Castle at San Simeon.
