In cases it was said to be present in about the sare amounts as, or less than, the average, but in Illinois, Anderson reports leaf curl and deformed twigs caused by Exoascus as considerably worse than usual, and of importance locally. Collaborators in the tier of states from lichigan to North , mentioned that the disease is particularly important on Prunus a:.:ericana Harsh. This species seems to be particularly susceptible t,o pl'am poclc-ts. In some of the other states also the disease is reported as especially corimon on some of the wi plims, which may, or raay not be ?.
