Sunflowers put on a spectacular show every late summer in our village garden in Oxfordshire. Here we see a close up of the beautiful Fibronacci spiral patterns in a mature flower and seed head. Originating in America, the Helianthus family includes over 70 species and can become quite invasive. But who cares when they look this beautiful?
