Anal III 5, not reaching caudal. Pectoral f length of head, not reaching ventral; latter below middle of dorsal. Caudal peduncle twice as long as deep. Scales finely striated longitudinally, 30-32 xl, 2 between lateral line and ventral, 12 round caudal peduncle. Brownish above, each scale blackish at the base, whitish beneath ; fins red.
