A Buddhist lama talking to visiting monks and nuns at the Holy Island on Scotland's west coast. The island, situated off the coast of the neighbouring island of Arran, was owned by the Samye Ling community based at Eskdalemuir in Dumfries and Galloway. It was purchased in the 1990s and an inter-faith community centre was built and opened on the island in 2003.
