The image is of the harbour clock in the grounds of the 12th century Viking Fortress of Castle Rushen on the southeastern tip of the Isle of Man in the aptly named Castletown. The castle was the seat of Government for many years until the capitol of the Isle of Man was transferred from Castletown to the more centrally located Douglas on the west coast.
