Marion Davies, American actress, 1934-1935. Marion Davies started out in show business in the chorus line of the Ziegfeld Follies on Broadway. After moving into film acting she became involved in a relationship with the newspaper mogul William Randolph Hearst, whose overactive promotion of her probably had a negative effect on her career.
