Mr. Morrison, though loadedwith the many exacting details of every day business, finds time todevote to many other matters. He served the town as representativein 1886 and has been one of its selectmen for several terms. Besides,he has served the educational interests of Union District as one ofthe board. He was one of the committee for the construction of thenew Union graded schoolhouse and from his familiarity with and oftenpersonal encounters with fire has both experience and fitness for theposition he holds at the head of the fire department.
