A flintlock pistol, Johann Jakob Kuchenreuther, Steinweg bei Regensburg, middle of the 18th century. Browned barrel with smooth bore in mm calibre, a silver front sight and a rear sight with two leaves. The signature, "IOH. IAC. KUCHENREUTER" is inlaid in silver on the barrel rib, three brass-filled marks on the breech. Flintlock with double set trigger. Lightly carved wooden stock with brass furniture and a horn nose cap.
