On the Vjth June, the • island star appears in the newchannel between the island and the promontory to which itlately belonged, and is noted as being for the first timeindubitably a star. These changes appear to indicate themovement of the island away from the promontory andtowards the opposing capes. On 21st June, among otherminute changes, I note that the island is nearer the capethan before observed ; but that the star is again becomingobscured by nebula in new channel, and t
