This week's building partner capacity update features photos of Esercito Italiano members training Peshmerga forces near Erbil, Iraq. Trainers from Finland, Germany, Hungary, The Netherlands, Great Britain, Norway are also providing training at the Erbil BPC site. Coalition members from 14 nations trained 17,541 Iraqi Security Forces, to include Peshmerga and tribal forces, to increase their capability to defeat Daesh (an Arabic acronym for ISIL).
