Head and thorax brick-red, the head and teguife rather paler ; palpi chocolate-red, pale in front; antennae with the basal joint white at sides ; pectus and legs pure white, the fore legs in front and the mid and hind tibiae and tarsi above chocolate-red; abdomen chocolate-red, pale red at sides and below. Fore wing bright red with a slight silvery grey gloss especially beyond the postmedial line and very slight black irroration ; black points in cell towards extremity and on discocclkilars; a double incurved blackish line. Ab. 2. rhodopMla. Fore wing with the postmedial line more prominent and with olive suffusion before it on costa. Ab. 3.
