The Zero Kilometre Stone is a 3 m high limestone pedestal sculpture near the base of the Castle Hill Funicular railway in the Buda area of Budapest. Marked near its bses with the inscription "KM" for kilometres, the stone marks the reference point from which all road distances to Budapest are measured in the country. The sculpture was designed by artist Miklós Borsos and was erected in 1975.
