Cow sculpture in Oxtrrail 2024, Oxford. OxTrail 2024 is a public art event in support of a well-known charity. An eclectic herd of oxen is roaming throughout Oxford; each has been painted by artists, schools, community groups, or local media. Note that Oxford - Ox ford' is named after the animal, of course. How appropriate! This event raises for Sobell House Hospice, which provide expert and compassionate care to people at the end of life, and support to their family and friends. So it's all in a great cause. This bovine specimen is located in Broad Street, in the historic heart of the city, just in front of the Clarendon Building and facing the Weston Library.
