An important Russian hunting flintlock gun, Tula, master gunsmith Ilya Salischev (ascribed to) Dated 1747. Round barrel made from finely grained Damascus with smooth bore in 14 mm calibre. Silver-inlaid floral decorations with trophies on top of the barrel, silver front sight. Flintlock with finely cut and engraved rocaille decoration as well as allegoric hunting scenes.
