The works are by Kinable, and the metalmounting by Duplessis. Length. 2 ft. J in. ; width, io£ in. On this page some candelabra are illustrated. No. 1has six branches, and is from the Petit Trianon. No. 2 is one of a pair, for three lights, of chased ormolu ;two female figures, supporting a vase, from which springbranches of lilies, and resting on an oval base with festoonsof flowers and gadroons. Middle of 18th century. Height,23i in. No. 3 is also for three lights, one of a pair, of bronzeand ormolu; a female figure holding a cornucopia and standingon a marble pedestal. Late 18th No. 1.
