The plants grow from twelve to fifteen inches high, and produce their large and lovely flowers on stiff, upright stems ; the petals of the flowers are di cply cut into fine strips or thread- like fringes for about half their length, and are t wisied in ail directions, presenting a novel aspect; in color they vary very much, having all shades f i om pure-white to dcep-purplish- red, with red and rose zones and stripings. Exce'lent for cutting'and highly ornamental, in the garden either in beils bv theinselve* or in n mixed flower border. Is most certainly worthy of a place in your garden.
