Leyburn 1940s Weekend is based in the town centre with a display of Vintage and military vehicles in the Market Place on Saturday 28th July and Sunday 29th July 2012. Leyburn Town in partnership with Wensleydale Railway hosted its 5th event over the weekend. The event centres around Leyburn set in the heart of Wensleydale, North Yorkshire where the town really gets into the spirit of the event by dressing the shop fronts in period memorabilia and hosting re-enactors, vehicles and traders.
