I have tried a great many times todraw things for the magazine, but Inever have sent them, so this yearI drew a picture of The Thing IPrize Most, and as I dont get mySt. Nicholas until about the twen-tieth, my drawing will be very late,but I will inclose it in this laura prized Your interested reader, most. Laura Lyon Ward (age 10).. New York City, N. St. Nicholas: I just came back from Europe andI certainly must tell your young readers about it. I willbegin with Paris, where I was first, but I only stayedthere four weeks. What most interested me was to see allthe bfg towers and buildings. My mother and father tookme to see the Eiffel Tower, which is the biggest tower inthe world, even bigger than our Metropolitan in the evening I went on the Boulevard and saw allthe big shows and moving pictures. The next few weeksI saw Champs-Elysees and all other places, but best ofall I liked was when I was up the Eiffel Tower and sawall France as a tiny dot. After this I went to Vienna to see my grandparents,and, as I could not stay very long, they took me tosee all the beautiful things there. First, I went to ViennasConey Island, which you call the Prater, and enjoyed my-self there. Then I went to see the wonderful churches,the Stephens and Votive church, and was up Viennashighest
