The 14th -century half-timbered and slate-clad townhouse where Joan of Arc visited to have her body armour made at number 39/41, Rue Colbert in Vieux Tours in the old part of the French university town of Tours, located in the Val de Loire (Loire Valley) in France It was late March-April in 1429 when Joan of Arc received her banner and body armour at Tours, before leading with her army to Orleans. The plaque on the wall indicates the event.
