A small-sword M 1798 for bravery with applied Order of St. Anne for Russian infantry officers, Slender, double-edged thrusting blade. Etched trophies with floral decoration on both sides. On ricasso maker's mark " F. Hörster Solingen". Hilt with floral décor and brass wire winding, remnants of gold-plating. On insides of guard plates engraved Cyrillic inscriptions "For Bravery" as well as applied miniature of the Order of St. Anne. Leather-covered wooden scabbard with brass mountings.
