Towards theend of August the attack was most noticeable,and at this time the leaves were quickly fallingfrom the trees. From the collectors standpoint insects werevery scarce in this district during the past sea-son. I, therefore, did not succeed in takingmany species which call for special mention. Ihave during the year continued my work atbreeding and inflating larvte, and the following,which are shown in a case I have brought to the. Fig. 1?.
