SIGONELLA, Sicily (April 17, 2014) - Vice Adm. Phil Davidson, commander, 6th Fleet, addresses personnel from Patrol Squadron (VP) 9 during an all-hands call at Naval Air Station Sigonella. VP-9 is forward deployed to the 6th Fleet area of responsibility and is assigned to CTF 67, responsible for tactical control of deployed maritime patrol and reconnaissance squadrons throughout the European and African areas of responsibility.
