The plinth project to GY symbolises new values of a new more fluid society . Values brought into sharp relief when seen in the same physical location as Nelson's column which which an icon of an earlier more regimented set of social norms. Man in the red vest is Jason Clark an NHS nurse from Brighton Lady with balloons is Gill Gatcum releasing balloons for charity during her hour on the plinth. Man in the animal suit in cafe is Suren Seneviratne just garduated from Goldsmith's and plans a performance piec on the plinth.
