Dozens of supporters of Briton Shaker Amer, a prisoner in Guantanamo Bay for 13 years, held a protest march from Parliament Square to Downing Street. Amer has been held without charge and has been "cleared for release" but has yet to be freed. The protest group Friends of Shaker Amer presented a petition to the Prime Minister's office calling for his immediate release.
