A flintlock rifle,C. Keiner,Eger,circa 1730. Octagonal barrel,lightly swamped(reblued)with a seven groove rifled bore in 14 mm calibre,a dovetailed front sight and a cut rear sight. Signed "C. KEINER IN EGER"(worn)on the breech. A silver escutcheon behind the tang is engraved with a princely coronet and alloy monogram "AESD"(?). Flintlock sculpted in wheellock form is beautifully cut with floral ornamentation and a horseman. Hair trigger. Walnut full stock with floral carving.
