General view looking downriver from above the Dam - on left photograph the bouldery gravel directly downriver from and to the right of the sluiceway is a remnant of the roadway which was used to haul in wire bag work after the flood of Feb. 7, 1937. The present flood peaked at about 17,000 and washed away most of the roadway.
