Clinton Gulch Dam Reservoir with 14,271-foot Quandary Peak, near Leadville, Colorado


Clinton Gulch Dam Reservoir, variously described as being near Leadville, Frisco, Breckenridge, or Silverthorne in Colorado. This reservoir is stocked with trout; the most popular are Cutthroat trout, Brown trout and Rainbow trout. There is an easy trail encircling the reservoir that can be covered in about an hour. The area is also popular for winter snowshoeing.
