Dores beach is located in the north-eastelry end of Loch Ness, in the vicinity of the small town of Dores. The beach is composed of small pebbles and is bordered by a pine forest at one end. Dores Beach, and the surrounding woodland, is a popular destination for walkers and tourists. The nearby town of Dores has been host to Rock Ness, a major outdoor music festival focusing on electronic music acts.
