Evergreen type of ear, V/8" diameter, with 14-18 rows. Kernels rich golden yellow; deep, with tender hull, sweet, and of fine quality. CLARK'S EARLY EVERGREEN (w) %y2 7% One of the best known of the older canning varieties. Origi- nated by Everett B. Clark on our Milford, Connecticut, farms many years ago. Ears 2" diameter, 16-20 rowed. Kernels very deep, ivory white, sweet and tender. COUNTRY GENTLEMAN (SHOEPEG) (w) 7 7 A prolific variety of excellent quality. Stalk often with two ears, V/%" diameter. Kernels very deep, slender, sweet, with tender hull, and set irregularly without row formation. â GOLDEN BANTAM (y) sy2 V/2 Was long the standard yellow variety and very extensively grown, but is very susceptible to bacterial wilt. Stalks often have 2 ears. Ears 8 rowed, 13/g" diameter; kernels broad with tender hull, sweet, and of very fine flavor. â GOLDEN BANTAM, IMPROVED 10-14 ROWED (y) sy2 7 Our development from Golden Bantam. Ears 10-14 rowed, 134" diameter, uniform and attractive. Kernels golden yellow, me- dium-wide, deep, sweet, and of fine flavor; remain tender longer than regular Golden Bantam.
