Thrasymede's Tomb near the village of Giolova in the Greek Peloponnese.
This is a Tholos tomb of the Mycenaean era - 1680-1060 BC. The tomb was discovered in the 19th century and first dug scientifically in 1950. The excavators decided it was the tomb of Thrasymedes, the son of the mythical King Nestor. The tomb had been plundered but the rich artifacts that remained convince the diggers that the burial was very rich and high status. The was even the intact skeleton of an ox, sacrificed at the time the occupants interment. Later research has revealed that the tomb was built on a more ancient site, possibly as far back as the third or forth century BC. The site occupies a hilltop overlooking the sea.
