He (Michael) was a member of the Methodist churchwhen he removed to Ohio and held in his possession for many yearsa letter of membership, but never united with any church organiza-tion in his western home. He was for years a member of the Masonicfraternity. His sons have been successful in business, honorable andupright in their transactions. The names of three of their children are known to the author:I. Mary; married Gilbert Albert of Worcester, New William M., born about 1788; came to America with anaunt when about nine years of age and lived with her onSouth Hill in the town of Worcester. Three years later the parents of William M., John, and McLean Queal, emigrated to America and located on a farm on South Hill,where the children were reared. Third Generation William Queal (John,2 William1), married Abbie them were born four children:I. Catherine; died young. III. Jane. IV. Alexander. William M. Queal and his wife lived on South Hill, owning alarge farm on which they spent their married life. H
