Throne in Cameroon

Pictured here is the throne used by the rulers of the Kingdom of Bamum in Cameroon in Africa. The original is the Folklore Museum in Berlin, Germany. The Bamum refer to their throne as mandu yenu ,and their king as mfon. The Bamum kingdom was founded in the early 1700s.
