It is true that fruit growing is more or less a specialty and that where one man succeeds several may fail. But when men learn the reasons for success and failure in the business and practice more intelligent methods success will be more common. Tlie first thing that a beginner must learn is that trees are as much a crop as corn or potatoes and must receive just as much care. In fact, he must learn that trees require much more care tluui field crops, but in return they may yield five to ten times the profits.
