1971 Lola T222 Can Am race car (powered by an Chevrolet engine) on his way to breaking two land speed records on 17th September 2008. The record attempts were made to demonstrate that significant achievements are not sole the preserve of the able bodied. This is a joint venture between Hope for Tomorrow (Registered Charity No. 1094677) and Aspire “Supporting people with spinal injury” (Registered Charity No. 1075317).
