Selling fruits, "Fresh Local Produce" Strawberry seller_Girl selling Scottish fruit produce in Couper Angus, Blairgowrie, Scotland uk

Scotland is well known for its soft fruit, and many consider the raspberry the finest. Most of the UK's production is grown here. The raspberry, latin name Rubus, is actually not a true berry (a fruit with many seeds scattered throughout the pulp) but an etaerio (or aggregate fruit) made up of drupelets (individual sections of fruit each with its own seed). The culture of raspberries began around 1629 and by 1800, selection for better varieties became more widespread. Tayside is the prime raspberry growing region of Scotland.
