Ipomea Leari is a magnificent Morning Glory, bearing deep azure blue flowers, 6 inches in diameter. It is a profuse bloomer and of a lovely color. Among Morning Glories the distinct and pretty Ipomea Palwata (Mexicana) takes a leading place, as its flowers, which are large and of a purplish rose color, remain open several hours and do not wilt as soon as the sun shines. Being tuberous-rooted, it may be win- tered like a Dahlia and improves from year to year in the quantity of bloom. Passiflora Pfordtii we consider the best for outdoor culture among the tender Passion Flowers, as it is far ahead in blooming qualities and vigor of growth. Its beautiful flowers are borne freely, are of a rich shade of blue, suffused with rose, and are possessed of a spicy fragrance which adds greatly to their charms.
