Organized by the Times Square Church into Times Square for a prayer meeting. Fifteen thousand people representing over 200 churches gather annually in Times Square to pray for the nation. On September 20 of each year parishioners of churches representing all denominations to come together and celebrate this event together. As discussed organizers, Pray in the square (Prayer on the Plaza) is an opportunity for all believers in Jesus Christ, to gather under one banner, for one hour, and pray for the future of our city and our nation. A choir of over 180 voices will sing songs of praise, and individuals pray at intervals of about three minutes each. The whole event is broadcast Astrovision screen at One Times Square News, and several radio stations.
