Goshavank Monastery, a 12th century church in the mountain village of Gosh near Dilijan in Armenia. Armenia is the oldest Christian nation on earth, adopting the religious affirmation in 301 AD after then ruler, King Tiridates III, was cured of madness by patron saint Gregory the Illuminator. Built in the 12th century, Goshavank Monastery was considered one of the principal cultural centres of Armenia.
