Oakham, Rutland, England,UK., 30th May 2016. Oakham Castle was re-opened after £2m worth of restoration work was completed, the money provided by the Heritage Lottery Fund. To celebrate the re-opening many Norman themed events were held in the castle grounds including coin striking,archery, the making of chain mail and much more.
