Dog handler and dog, a Labrador, are conducting random searches of vehicles in the parking lot of an American Maximum security prison. Narcotics coming in to prison is a major issue and random searches of vehicles in the prison parking lot is one of many ways the prison tries to detect drugs before they are brought into the prison. Typically random searches are conducted on an irregular schedule and vehicles of both staff and visitors are searched.
