Deia is a litle village situated in the Tramuntana mountains on the North West coast of Mallorca

Deia has for many years been known as an quiet place with lots of artists living here. It is known for its literary and musical residents. Robert Graves live here for most of his life and in the 80's some of Englands most famous rock musicians, Mick Jagger, Mark Knopfler and Mike Oldfield, came here, as Richard Branson, owner of Virgin Records, had a residence here. Today Deia is an important stopover for cyclists and hikers moving around the mountains.
