He thenthought that if he should ask double what the cowwas worth, the man would leave without contrary to his expectations, the man laiddown the money and drove the cow off. After theman was gone, he talked the matter over with hiswife, and they decided it was Usury. So hemounted a horse, rode after the man, and gave himback half of the money, saying, I dont want to bedamed for a cow.
