Afterpassing through the bearings it is discharged into a filter,and from the filtered oil passes to a receiving taflk in theengine room basement to which the suction of the oil pumpis connected. Taps are placed in this line at convenientpoints for filling the oil cups on the auxiliary engines andpumps. HIGH-PRESSURE DRIPSThe drips from the high-pressure steam line are returned tothe boilers by a Holly gravity return system, the receiver ofwhich is located in the engine room base
