Reading Railroad FP7 diesel #903 (coupled to FP7 #902) and steam locomotive #2124 on display at the Steamtown National Historic Site in Scranton, Pennsylvania. The facility is a railroad museum and heritage railroad at the site of the former Scranton yards of the Delaware, Lackawanna and Western Railroad. The FP7 diesel unit was built in 1950 for passenger train service while the 4-8-4 steam locomotive was rebuilt in 1947 in Reading Railroad shops from a former 2-8-0 (#2044) configuration and was used primarily for hauling coal. The site is operated by the National Park Service. Steam locomotives and old rolling stock are on display throughout the site which is located within a still operating railroad yard and area.
