Gilt altar screen dedicated to St Andreas (St Andrew), Keldby Kyrka, Keldby, Møn, Denmark


The unique gilt altar is Gothic, dates from late 1400s and is dedicated to St Andreas. Romanesque church built between 1200 and 1250, though with a tower dating from the late Middle Ages. It contains frescos from 1275, 1325, 1400 and 1500 to 1524 which span almost the entire Middle Ages and are amongst the richest in Denmark. Those from 15th century are by the Master of Elmelunde.
