HONG KONG (April 10, 2017) Staff Sgt. Arquimedes Madrigal, assigned to Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron (VMM) 163, embarked aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Makin Island (LHD 8), participates in a drawing competition as part of a cultural exchange between Makin Island Sailors and Marines and students at SHK Tsoi Kung Po secondary school in Hong Kong. Makin Island, with the embarked 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit, visited Hong Kong to experience the city's rich culture and history as part of ongoing operations in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
