BREMERTON, Washington (April 29, 2017) Hospitalman Jessica Aranda, from Ridgecrest, California, and Personnel Specialist Seaman Ethan Vernon, from Mt. Vernon, Ohio, assist with toy donations during a community service event at the Sheridan Park Community Center. John C. Stennis Sailors teamed with the Kitsap County Veterans Alliance to provide outreach to veterans in the community. John C. Stennis is conducting a planned incremental availability (PIA) at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility, during which the ship is undergoing scheduled maintenance and upgrades.
