Fruit small, oblate,inclining to conic; skin yellow, nearly covered with thin nettings ofrusset, sometimes a shade of rich red in the sun; stalk long, slenderinserted in a medium cavity; calyx closed; basin broad, shallow, dia. Baltzley. tinctly and peculiarly corrugated; flesh fine, yellowish, tender, nviderately juicy, rich, sprightly subacid and ai-omatic; very good; coresmall. October and November. 3 the apple. Sweet. Originated on the farm of John Baltzley, Manellan Townsliip, ee moderately vigorous, spreading, an early bearer, very productiveevery other year, and a small crop alternate ones; an old apple, but afavorite where known; young shoots light reddish brown, manyrusset dots. Fruit rather large, oblate or roundish oblate, nearly regular; skinpale yellow, often with a shade of light pale red in the sun, and a fewgrayish dots; stalk rather short, small; cavity large, deep; calyxclosed; basin large, deep, slightly corrugated; flesh white, half fine,tender, moderately juicy, rather rich, sweet; good to very good.
